18 Weeks! The Eve of the Ultra Sound

Well, hello all!

Tomorrow morning at 0800 we have our ultrasound. (our second actually, but the one where Peanut is bigger than a peanut!)

We're really excited and even hoping we'll find out if its Peanutte or Peanut. He he he.

I know 18 weeks is on the early side of finding out but our fingers are crossed. We have some friends who are those who have, 9 out of 10 times, guessed the sex of a baby by hunch or other (like me). There are more who say Girl than Boy on that one so we shall see. I'd always felt I'd have a boy later in life and you may laugh but its probably because one random Palm Reader (that I seemed to connect with) told me so. For years now I've believed I would have a boy. But recently whenever I try to picture our baby its always a girl... With me being one of three girls and there being 3 nieces on Chris' side we would love to throw a curve ball by having a boy. But it'd be just as much fun to add to the ridiculous number of girls! We really aren't at all leaning either way and as far as I'm concerned no matter what the sex we'll make sure they have a wide variety of toys and life. Like us Mousseau girls... Star Wars toys, Tonka Trucks, BMX bikes, camping, ice skating... but hopefully they inherit Chris' love and talent for making music. 

I had plans of posting another belly photo tonight but time did not permit this evening as I had some pre-Olympic running around to do. I will do so soon though, I promise, since I think I've gained a pound a week for the last four weeks and its showing. (you know me! thrilled to be gaining some weight finally)

So whether we have news on "what kind of baby" we're having, or just on other news from the Ultra Sound I'll post it tomorrow at least by evening if I don't have time to during the day.

Wish me a good night sleep as last night was not and this is happening twice a week now. Wake up at 3am never to sleep again... they say its preparing you for sleepless nights. I think its just cruel. I should be stocking up on all the sleep I can right now!
