8 months NeoNatal Check Up

Jordan passed his appointment with flying colours this morning! But we never doubted he would. In the top 90% for his corrected age. He's pretty much developing at his real age now - 10 months! Picking up little bits and toys with his fingers. Crawling and sitting are as far as they expected him to be today but as he's pulling himself up to stand as well as cruising along the edge of furniture and lowering himself everyone was impressed. He loves interacting with other babies and he proved it with a life size doll today which was funny. He gets so excited! Yesterday in the grocery store he shouted out to any baby that passed in a stroller but had not much to say to adults that fawned over him. Comical.

He's now 17lbs 10oz - almost a full pound heavier in the last month.
68cm long
And the doctor did confirm that although Jordan is a good size he's still in the lower scale for his corrected age. But that's okay. He's perfect just like he is!

I went to meet my managers today and I'll be going back to work sometime in November, we just have to see how much vacation time I have and how much I want to spend. I'll have to save some for winter, but I'll get more in April so I think I can take a few extra weeks before going back to work.

At the moment that is all - I'll post some photos later.

we all knew right from the start that jordan is a superhero... it's still always nice for the docs to confirm this fact!!

boo about the back to work bit... but at least you'll get to see jordan through is 1st birthday!
