12 month (corrected age) Neo-Natal Appointment

Jordan weighed in at 9.9 kgs today at his neo-natal appointment. This is just shy of 22lbs!
Fatty fat fat is now in the 25-50% of his age range (instead of 20%).

He's developing just fine - they thought he might have words by now but not at all a concern since he points, which is right before words. He blurted out Hello this morning, I swear, when we were waving, "Hello World" out the patio doors!
But they were happily shocked by his walking skills and stacking skills.

We need to practice playing ball with him and 'forcing' him to use words by not anticipating what he wants all the time. Saying the name of the object is good when he points, but waiting a bit longer before delivering it to him will help. But as always with these visits Jordan does everything he hasn't yet done within 2 weeks of the appointment! LOL

His favourite toys are things that make music! Including Brobee his new stuffed animal he got from his cousin's for Christmas. Brobee talks and plays music when you squeeze his hand. He likes to put small toys into other toys, stacking, and putting toys inside of buckets and such. His favourite book is My Friends that daddy picked out long ago... but he loves books period and gets excited when we sign 'book' and say it. He's learning to push cars along the ground using the wheels instead of just banging them and eating them. Jordan recognizes his friend Kian when he sees him and that's really sweet. I think he also knows the name because when I say 'Kian' he looks like he knows who I'm talking about before even seeing him.

That is all for now (I am at work!).

Glad to hear he is doing so well. He has little more weight on him than Autumn now. She weighed in at 20lbs. on my scale at home. Love his curls. Wonder if he and Autumn will keep them.

I haven't commented in a while so here's to the last few blogs...
I feel for the little guy with the teething...mine's going through the same.
I love the dancing, what style is that? Crump?
I love love love the Christmas photo card you did. Why didn't I think of that.
Merry Christmas Mousseau family...Merry Christmas Chris's family (I don't know your dad but I think that shirt is hillarious).
Keep up the pointing and start chatting Jordan, we can't wait to hear what you have to say!
Love you all!

He is walking around very well! And shaking those Maracca's (probably not spelled right) at the same time, Very talented!

About the pointing at things they want. Autumn does that too but she also makes this grunting noise when she can't say what it is. It is hilarious. If she wants to get to a certain place she says "dere" meaning "there".

I absolutely love the Christmas card. Those pics are soooo great!

I too didn't have my cam out too much over the holidays either! I will need to collect from the family as well to post some of our pics!
