Let's Go To The Ex, oh baby...

We headed out first thing this morning to be at the Ex by 10:30. We wanted to get a good morning visit in before this nasty heat got nasty! The rides didn't start until 11:00 we found out so we then wandered down to The Farm pavillion. There was a BIG blow up cow outside. It was as tall as the building and Jordan was thrilled. We then thought, you ain't seen nothing yet bubba.

And sure enough he was pretty happy to see all those animals inside. There were goats right off the bat, then sheep, then horses and cows. Lots and lots of cows. He spent a lot of time checking them out. Jordan also liked the pigs. He found his way back to them on his own.

Then we headed out to the children's ride area. So many choices! But the best choice right now was the carousel. He loved it. We walked around to find him another ride but they all needed an adult with tickets since he's too young to go solo. So since he enjoyed the carousel so much Chris took him back on and Jordan had no complaints!

We packed up and headed home as it was really starting to get too hot. Home by 1pm and Jordan's still napping now. (3pm) So nice living walking distance to the Ex. I just have one complaint. Why did they get rid of that amazing adult carousel? When I was finally old enough to ride it we stopped coming to the Ex - because Wonderland was built... So sad that carousel's gone!

I don't think he realized they were so BIG in real life.

Well, I don't have any more time off right now, but I think we could arrange seomthing for next summer. Maybe your Mom could come up for the week as well. I can see him enjoying four wheeling if he enjoyed the carousel so much. But we wouldn't go around and around, more up and down and around and bump bump bump. Ha ha.
