FEVERS!
Poor chitlins and fevers. Its only Jordan at the moment but the poor little bubba called out from his room around 9pm tonight and was hot hot hot. So we did the usual... Tylenol, sitting with him, Chris read him a story. Then Jordan asked to go back to bed so I carried him in. After tucking him in and giving him water he looked at me and said, "Mama, I want some avocado."
I paused and tried not to laugh.
Instead I told him that perhaps water was a better choice given his not feeling well right now.
He agreed and fell asleep.
