In the Blink of an Eye

Its not the worst thing that could happen, but its certainly a shocker.
Most of you know, Jordan gave his sister a haircut yesterday. Not just a large snip at the front of her head like most kids do. But basically her entire head, except a wisp in the back. I'm only posting this so that when I print the blog its noted in here for posterity... or blackmail. Whichever I need it to be.

Let's first remember Amber's gorgeous curls.

And this is what I came home to.

 Oh Look! He left her a rat tail! I had one in grade 7. It wasn't cool then either.

 And then, below, what we have now after I evened it out. The waves hide a lot too.

Amber apparently has the face for short hair because she looks adorable. I'm still stunned, but she does look cute. And it seems I can, with a little finesse, get a barrette flower in her hair. 

I can't wait to see how her hair will grow in after this. Will it still be curly? Wavy?

I'm sure it will be next summer before we see some actual length. Just in time for the pony tail summer season.
