Tippy Toes getting some help

After a visit to Sunnybrook NICU follow up Foot Clinic and 5 persons in the Occupational Therapy world it has been deemed that Jordan needs AFOs. He has a 25% lift and his calf has shortened by quite a large amount. The boots have a lift in the heel to equal his own lift so that he gets the sensation of walking on his heel and the rest of the boot works at lengthening his calf. As his lift lowers so will the heel on the boots. Its going to be a long journey; 1-2 years approx, but it'll be worth it and Jordan's pretty pumped about the boots. He got to pick any design that they can apply to the boot. And they also look a bit Super Hero like. In addition, another little boy who's been wearing his boots for about a year came in and showed Jordan. We all know what kind of confidence can come from that.

So here's what they look like:

And here's Jordan getting casts of his legs done. He thought it was pretty cool. And it was.
