Amber's Memories
Once in a while Amber surprises us with a memory or story from 'before she was Amber'. These are her words. Honestly.
There have been stories of her with her Grandparents (not Granny's or Papas or Nannys or Pappys) but Grandparents. They're always told quite randomly and out of the blue. You never know when you'll get one.
This past weekend Amber stated, "I used to watch The Friendly Giant."
Chris and I looked at each other quite intrigued. Out of curiosity I asked, "Do you remember what animals were on the show?"
Amber said, "Giraffe."
Now she couldn't recall the colour of the giraffe and seemed to click back to present day. I tried to ask her more questions but that always seems to just cause her to make stuff up. We put on the show later that night without telling her what it was and after hearing a bit of the song I asked her if she knew who lived there (remember, we only see the draw bridge), Amber said, the Giant.
