Mountsberg with Jordan

Today I had the honour of volunteering on a Mountsberg field trip. It is a Conservation area with a bird's of prey sanctuary. We met 3 bird's up close in the theatre then a few outside in their holds. Many of these bird's were too injured to go back to the wild or were 'house pets' turned out. (ridiculous idea to own a wild bird)

The tiny grey owl pictured is Echo an Eastern Screech Owl. I think he was our favourite.

Then after lunch we went to Maple Town and tasted some syrup. Yum! (we also learned how its made... Wish I had me some trees to tap)
