Midwife visit

We heard the heart beat of our baby today! It was amazing. Twice the pace of my own, like it was running a marathon! Tired me out just listening to it.

160bpm which is apparently very good.

The midwife we met with today will be one of two of our main midwives. Her name is Abhir and the other is Anita, but she herself is on maternity leave until November. I guess I know she can help me with first hand experience! 

I like the idea that they can stay with you at home while in labour for the first part. I can be in the comfort of my own home until its time to push! And we're so close to the hospital it'll be perfect.

The fatigue and nausea are tapering off. Its more in the morning and evenings now instead of 24/7 which is nice. 

As soon as I can figure out how to put up a growth chart at the top I will! In the meantime the fetus should be about 3" right now with facial features forming and internal organs developing! Hope they get Chris's stomach of steel and not mine!
