8 Month Check Up!

Technically 8 months and 3 weeks.

6 Months and 3 weeks - corrected.

Our Peanut had a check up today and the doctor seems just fine with Jordan's health. He did call Jordan 'slight'.

He said "he's slight but certainly not starving".

Pardon? Slight? Did he see his bitable thighs?

(edit: now that I think on it, I'm pretty sure Dr. Brian was referring to Jordan's real age, not corrected, so that would make sense. He's slight for almost 9 months, but certainly not 7!)

He weighs 16lbs 14oz - I really though he'd hit 17lbs with the recent solid foods introduction.

But as I said the doctor gave Jordan two thumbs up and is impressed by his trunk stability. Jordan's been trying to pull himself up as well as rocking back and forth trying to crawl forward (he's made a few teeny steps forward). He's also mastered from hands and knees to a sitting position. This all made the doctor quite happy because its even a bit early for this. Yay Jordan!

We don't go back to the doctor until after Jordan's first birthday when we resume shots. Boo.
