A BOY IN HIS BATH

Jordan loves his baths! Most kids do. He jumps with glee when he hears the water running. I finally thought to take some photos and he even cooperated while laying down (which he has recently come to dislike, but we're back to being okay with it apparently). In fact last night after I laid him down he seemed to be listening to how everything sounded with his ears under water. I was above him smiling and he just gave me big wide eyes with a grin. I'd say his name quietly and he'd smile and lay really still listening.

AND he's mastered clapping. As of Thursday. All my singing "If you're happy and you know it..." as well as applauding Chris after he plays a song on the guitar has finally worked! It was in fact one of those guitar moments that made it actually happen. Chris played and sang and at the end I said "Yay Daddy!" and clapped and - bam - Jordan clapped perfectly! (no more mashing hands together in a flailing mess!) He's been clapping every hour since.
