Spring! Random updates

I have to apologize, there have been no photo updates because I messed up my photo library. I was trying to make room on my laptop by putting them on my external drive and now I am having a hard time locating them. I usually know what I'm doing so I don't know what went wrong. I'll be having a friend help me fix it and we'll be up and running with photos within the week I hope!

In the meantime I could give you some other Jordan updates.
1. Swimming - much improved from week 1. He's still timid but is a bit more relaxed now and slowly trying new things; sitting on the edge of the pool and falling into my arms, getting his face half in the water (I don't want to dunk him yet before he is comfortable and scare him for life!) and walking in the shallow end (the pull of the water freaked him out for awhile).

2. His words are coming slowly and he'll blurt one out perfectly and then never say it again! He's done it with Turtle, Duckie and Bottle.
His favourite regular is B-Bye! He also uses it when he means No. If I'm changing his diaper he'll get restless and start saying B-Bye!
Buh - book
Bur - bird
Cah - car
Vroom
Ga? - gone (with the palms up hand gesture)
Gna-Gna - knock knock (with actual knocking)
And then some times he tries to say a word so hard. Chris and I watch and concentrate to figure out what he's trying to say but Jordan gets his tongue stuck on it.

3. Jordan's in love with the park. He knows what "outside" means and when we get within sight of the park he tries to climb out of his stroller pointing with excitement. I haven't had but one small protest in leaving the park yet. I'm sure they'll become more frequent. He loves the slides; all of them! We go down the big ones beside him and hold his hand. It makes him laugh big at the bottom.

4. His new bedtime pals; the Seahorse who's belly lights up and plays a medley of lullaby's (this he snuggles) and the Twilight Turtle who lights up stars all over the room.
And once we've put him down and has his seahorse in arm he waves b-bye saying it repeatedly even after we've shut the door. Then sometimes he'll gab a little before he falls asleep.

5. Jordan continues (and I'm sure will forever be) a curious little monkey. He climbs, opens, rips apart, and wants everything around him!

6. His molars are still working their way in, only the top first two.

I can't think of anything else and this is ridiculously long so I'll end it here.

Wow, Jordan sounds like an Aussie saying "cah" instead of "car"! Too cute! I love figuring out our little bubs' first words. Tomas still surprises me. Today he was spinning a cooking pot lid on the floor and he said to me "Mommy, watch what happens!". It blew me away!

Thanks for the update. Haven't checked in a while but glad to see you had a few things to say lol. Really it wasn't that long and it does keep us up to date.
