Week 13 - Relearning

Since my blog followers now know about our pregnancy (if they didn't already) I thought I'd talk about second baby experiences now too. I have had a much different first trimester than I did with Jordan.
1. Certainly not the same nausea. I had to be medicated for Jordan. But this time nausea waves were easily beaten with a crisp apple! Yay! I did get sick early a couple of mornings but I think it was mostly exhaustion.
2. The exhaustion is certainly heightened because we're now chasing Jordan around where last time I could really put up my feet and relax and then sleep in and nap when I wanted!
3. My tummy's popping out earlier and that's to be expected given its already had a good stretch. I'll have to start taking photos again I realized! It'll be fun to compare.

It really was amazing seeing the movement of the tiny fingers on the ultrasound. So much is formed its just astonishing!

"The fetus is now nearly 3 inches / 7 to 8 centimetres long from crown to rump and weighs nearly an ounce / 23 grams -- about half a banana. Its unique fingerprints are already in place. And when you poke your stomach gently and she feels it."

Yes, you must get some pictures up so we can have a look at the growing bump. Hope the nausea stays minimal or goes away period.
