23 Week Midwife Visit

Today we had a visit to the midwife where Jordan knows he gets to "push dee button" on the doppler (which is the audio instrument to hear baby's heartbeat).

I've gained 13lbs so far.

Waist is 34"

Both of those measurements are approximately the same if not a wee bit more than I was last time. Last time at 26 weeks I'd gained 14lbs and had a belly measurement of 34" at 24 weeks.

I've just read back to my 25 week blog update with Jordan to get this info and pretty much everything is the same... achy hips at night, my hair is wavy and doesn't keep its style after one week after being cut, complexion is good and baby is rollie pollie! However, I don't yet have swollen feet. Could be because I'm not walking to and from work and its winter not summer, but either way, I'm happy!

I also note that at my 26 week check up with Jordan that I told the midwife the Jordan lay horizontal with his head on my right whereas Sweet Pea is laying with her head on my left! Already so different? We shall see!

Its 10:25pm. Big yawns. Time for bed...
