Terrific Twilight Turtle

Its amazing what a child doesn't even know he's missing. But then when you show him, BAM, the awe is just amazing.

Last year when we moved into our new home we bought Jordan the Twilight Turtle. It never seemed to work 100%. There are three colour settings. Amber, blue and green. It shines stars on the ceiling and there's a moon in there too. The turtle worked for about a month maybe and then I struggled wondering why new batteries didn't help. We could only make amber work and have it high up on a shelf so that it didn't have far to reach the ceiling. I finally wrote the company in the States last week explaining the situation. They referred me to their Canadian rep immediately who in turn emailed me to get our address without question. Today we received the new Twilight Turtle. Amazing customer service. I'll buy from them anytime!

We picked up the package at the post office and the box made Jordan curious. Once I told him there was a turtle in it for him he couldn't wait until we got home to open it. Some minor upsets even! Once we got it out he insisted on using it right away. After dinner he and I lay in his bed with the lights off and door shut checking out the lights. Jordan seems to love the amber setting the best.

I was a bit worried that he would occupy himself playing with the turtle at bed time but he didn't! He used it as its meant to be used. Something to have on while they drift off. I peaked in about 30 minutes after putting him down to find him passed out and the turtle not too far away! He'll be able to turn it on again any time at night should he want to (its on a timer). Just like his lullaby Seahorse that you can see in the photo (that I just I had to take!!!).
