As of late...

Mr. Peanuts is too tall. He can reach the shelf of books in his room. I found this out quite by accident one day when I walked in and saw this! Granted it was cute to see...
But this is trouble for two reasons... he RIPS all paper books so I thought these were safe! And secondly, I expect the entire load to come down on him one day so I have moved the books to the closet shelf and replaced them with stuff animals... harmless if they topple!

Jordan now has a bedtime ritual of animals lined up in his bed.
He's had all except Pepe and Corey (centre) since birth. Pepe just came back with Auntie Laura from Costa Rica. Interestingly enough the matching monkeys only came to Jordan's attention that they matched a few weeks ago. He calls them the Together Monkeys.

I can't express enough how great Jordan is with Amber. The second he hears her on the monitor he says "We go get Amber, mommy?" or "Oh! I hear Amber, lets go!"
He sits and lays beside her for every diaper change when I do them on my bed.
He wants to hold her all the time. And his expression "Can I see her?" means he literally wants to peer into her face. If I'm nursing her its too obstructive or if Amber is looking away he puts his hands on her cheeks and gently turns her face to him. He sings to her when she's in her swing with the accompaniment of his 'guitar'. Its very sweet. And in the past two days he's gotten two great big smiles from her and it pleases him to no end! Her smiles are still hit and miss but we get them.
