Some Genetic Engineering Going On

Despite having many toys 'designed for boys' around the house Amber has started showing interest in the more 'female' styled toys. My sisters and I had lots of cross gendered toys growing up too. But somewhere deep inside we still have some code that leans us towards certain toys for some spells. I will insert that Jordan did parent his baby doll for quite a bit when he first got him when Amber was born. He fed him, diapered him and even nursed him. Yes. Yes he nursed baby Cory. And then he'd burp him. This doll, you will remember, was given to Jordan when Amber was born so that he also had a baby to take care of. However, baby Cory got buried in the stuffed animal bin and forgotten. Two weeks ago, though, Amber discovered him and immediately brought him out for hugs and kisses. We keep trying to catch photos but she's easily distracted by the camera. (no idea why - haha) But here's some snaps.

"Oops, I dropped him."

"He's all better!"
Amber tries to put baby Cory into bed in any crib type contraption she can find. Her Weebles playground toy is her favourite for this!

And then in the last few days she's found her dolls that she got from auntie Sarah. She pulls them out in the pair and plays with them together. This morning Amber brought them out to the living room and made sure they were facing the same way and then proceeded to either put them on the car or have them hanging out together. Its a riot to watch.
