Coming Home!

Its official! Our little man is coming home tomorrow night! That is Tuesday December 16th.

(a bit of a birthday present for my sister Sarah!)

We are very excited as you can imagine! We've been waiting for this day and its been a long time coming - it always seemed to be just out of reach, but now its here.

I'll spend the entire day tomorrow, or as much as I feel I need to, with him at the hospital doing everything for him. At this time Chris and I already manage much of what Jordan needs.

• His changes
  
• His feeds
  

So it will just be one last day with nurses around to help me should I need it. Or to give me last minute advice. Taking a pre-term baby home is a little different than a full term where feeding is concerned. At this time we're fully bottle feeding him and teaching him to nurse... it'll come, but slower.

Other than that we're all set!

We have decided (or I've finally relented) that Jordan probably needs his full head shaved. The hair is just too patch work looking. I hate to do it but its just too messy to grow out.
