A Farm, A Dog and Family too!

Yesterday Sarah and I drove out to Guelph to see Laura and my Mom. Mom was down to pick up Laura for her 2 week vacation with my parents in Ottawa. They go camping next weekend, I am jealous!

So on our trip we had a nice big lunch of various items from Laura's garden plot on a farm, went to said farm and then had dinner and an evening of keeping a child entertained! Laura dug up some crayons, which helped, showed Jordan some Jim Henson show videos and they all took their various turns with other nonsense like songs and books. We had a great day.

And my mom helped me turn Jordan's car seat around. He's too long for the rear facing anymore and I've been avoiding the task of turning it... turns out it wasn't too hard! And he loved it. We left Guelph at 8:30pm and I figured Jordan would be so tired and fall asleep. But the lights in the dark, the dashboard, seeing Sarah and I and the rain on the windshield was all too much and he didn't pass out until 9pm meanwhile jabbering about everything the whole time! (His regular bedtime is at least by 7:45!)

Here's our photo blog of the day...

Giving "Rocco" treats. Jordan loved this and so did Roxy! Jordan kept insisting he give Roxy "more" with the sign language too. How could auntie Laura refuse?

After checking out a spider on her web they all sang "Itsy Bitsy Spider".

Showing auntie Sarah his newest dance move, the 'Beefcake'.

Jordan just told his best Itsy Bitsy joke.

The famous "clothes pin in a box" noise maker machine!

Peek-A-Boo! with Nanny

Look at those sunflowers! They could eat a small child. But not mine, thank you very much.

Mom carried Jordan since the terrain was just too much for his short legs!

And a great time was had by all I am sure. Glad to hear you enjoyed yourself. Too bad Grandpa wasn't with you.
