1st Birthday Party!
Most of you reading this were here at the party today but a few important people weren't so I wanted to get a post up tonight.
Even with her bashfulness Amber was able to handle a party in her honour. She didn't want to eat any lunch and hadn't had a nice long morning nap so we just had to work with it.
But come present and cupcake time, Amber seemed quite pleased.

After opening all of her fantastic gifts it was time for some singing and sweets!

"Happy Birthday, dear Amber, Happy Birthday to you!"
It turns out Amber refused to eat anything prior to this because she was saving room for a cupcake. She ate this faster than I could grab the back up camera after my SLR filled up on this last shot!
Then once everyone had left and Amber could come out of her shell she took over the place with her new toys and climbing.
Or maybe she's wondering where all the people went? She is peering at the door.
The children are now all snug in their beds, while visions of cupcakes and toys dance in their heads.
Both of them, quite literally, fell asleep when their heads hit the pillows.
