Jordan - 3.5 Years

Our little Jordan is an entertainer to say the least. He loves singing to his favourite songs and allows us to add new ones to his faves lists too. He adapts to change. Good!

• He loves playing "I Spy".
• He likes his Mega Blots (blocks), dinky cars (we got him a road play mat for the Fort), and he loves the Fort.
• Shows and movies currently on the radar: Sesame Street, Fresh Beat Band, Toopy & Binoo, Yo Gabba Gabba, Toy Story and of course Labyrinth and The Muppets.
• Jordan just watched Star Wars in full and absorbed it enough for a 3.5 year old. Today he's trying to remember all of the main character names. But he did not like the trash compactor scene. The monster was fine, it was the compacting that disturbed him. But we got through it. And now he really wants to watch the "one with Yoda in it." He is now also that typical little boy shooting at people with his 'hand gun'.
• He's lost his practice at the park over the winter and is not brave enough to ride the big boy swing again yet, nor the tall slides. But he still loves the merry-go-round and see-saw.
• I love to see him randomly playing with toys on his own and sporting either a Fire Fighters helmet, or Pirate hat.
• Jordan still likes to go to bed with his Seahorse and Twilight Turtle. And the kids are sleeping pretty well in the same room. The disturbance is usually when one wakes at 5am. But before that they seem to sleep through each other's wakings.
• He loves to make Amber laugh. Once they get going and Jordan has found her giggle trigger they are unstoppable. We love it, of course.
