Most Improved Swimmer!

That's the award Chris and I think Jordan would have received if they were handing them out.
The difference between that first class and today's last class you wouldn't even know it was the same baby! He walks in at the shallow end on his own, he jumps of the first step down to medium level without too much problem, he swims through the water with me holding him and kicks his feet, he lets me roll him on his back to check out the fishes on the ceiling and wave at them, he jumps from sitting or standing at the edge of the pool, he lets me put him on his back in a life jacket and pull him around AND he sometimes tries to blow bubbles mostly drinking the water. NONE of that happened the first week, or the second or third... its been a slow process but he's there. I'm just sad that my work schedule doesn't allow for me to sign him up for more lessons. Jordan will have to enjoy the wade pool at the park for the summer instead.

There were absolutely no cameras allowed however I asked very nicely if we could do one at the end of class in the corner so as not to catch any other babes in the frame. Yes, his hair is dry... the one thing we didn't accomplish was getting him comfortable with dunking! He just wouldn't hold his breath. Oh well. I'll take all the other accomplishments.

Hurray Jordan! I think you should still give him his own reward anyway. Way to go! Knew he would be perfect by the end!!

I meant to ask when I saw him in the lake at the cottage if things had changed for him at the pool. I'm so happy he likes it. Keep hoping someone will follow in my footsteps and become a lifeguard. Ha ha.
