Way Up North...

It made me so happy to see Jordan enjoy a weekend at the cottage again. He really loves all things outdoors! We had so much outdoor time with the perfect weather and I think Jordan's the only one who didn't get bitten by black flies! Laura and I took him in the paddle boat for a spin, he loved it. When he was inside the cottage he stood at the door waiting to go out or helped himself to the sun porch. Once we were outside he needed to climb down the deck. Then he wanted to go down to the beach and dock. For those of you who don't know the landscape, its a very quick downhill roll to the lake if you're not careful! Let's just say Jordan kept us all busy but for a good cause! Jordan even braved the lake that was only 48F (9C) upon arrival but got up to just over 60F (16C) once he made it in a couple days later.

He got to meet my Auntie Michele and Uncle Carl from Ohio for the first time (and now I'm sad I didn't get a photo) and see all the other family members both Mitchell and Mousseau. There's loads of photos between me, my sisters and mom but here's a few of what I took.

Wow! All the way up to his bottom!

He knew his hat and sunscreen meant going outside which encouraged him to wear his hat!
A feat of its own.

Great pictures. Glad you had such a great time as well as Jordan. I only wish it hadn't been such a busy weekend for us with the school reunion to visit a little more. At least you got some family time together with your sisters and parents. Unbelievable weather.

Yes nice pics! Glad to see he enjoyed himself. And that's great in the cold cold water! It is so great to be able to spend that time out at the cottage. I do miss that part and wish we could do that more often.
