Amber so far...
Little miss Amber is a strong girl!
Day 5 Amber was moved to the 'graduation' room. Because she does not require any monitors (except a foot wrap that takes her blood pressure) she is in the 'big kids' room! Its quieter and more private.
She is nursing well for her age in both gestation and out of the womb which is what we want! The more she eats on her own, instead of the feed tube, the closer she is to getting home.
Most of these photos have been emailed out but I'd like to post some here as well.

On Day 2 she was moved from an incubator to an open cot.
On Day 3 her IV was disconnected as she met her fluid levels and was not in need of antibiotics.
On Day 4 her IV was completely removed from her hand.
Mommy gave her a bath and remembered just how tiny a baby in a bath can be!Day 5 Amber was moved to the 'graduation' room. Because she does not require any monitors (except a foot wrap that takes her blood pressure) she is in the 'big kids' room! Its quieter and more private.
