Saturday Visit

With the news of Amber coming home on Sunday afternoon Chris, Jordan, Auntie Sarah and I headed out to Etobicoke to find preemie diapers... Costco did not have them. But they did have massive packs of toilet paper so we got that instead as well as an enormous box of Goldfish crackers.

Afterwards we headed over to Babies'R Us and found the preemie diapers. I do plan on cloth diapering Amber but have not been able to find preemie sizes for an affordable price at this time. Once she hits 7/8lbs I should be good for cloth.

While at Toys'R Us we got Jordan a baby doll for him to take care of as well. He likes treating some of his stuffed animals as babies so now he can mimic caring for a baby with the baby doll too and better feel a part of her coming home... fingers crossed!

Afterwards Sarah and I went to the hospital to see Amber and here's Sarah's photos!

We arrived to, not surprisingly, find a sleepy baby.

Oh! Wake up and stretch! Those tiny hands have a good grip.

Food Coma after a really good nursing!
(There's video of this too but I'll have to load that later)

Tucked back in for nap nap.

Jordan feeding Corey, his new baby, that he named himself.

Goofing around with Auntie Sarah in the backseat.

That's so exciting that she'll be home on Easter Sunday! How nice for you! Love these photos of Amber - especially the coma one! That takes me back! Enjoy this very special day together:)

Glad to hear Amber will be coming home. Welcome home! Also, glad to hear you weren't planning on wrapping her up in toilet paper. Had been wondering there for a second until I kept reading. LOL. Thought maybe exhaustion was depriving your brain of the thought process. Have a Happy Easter Day! Celebrate your first day as a family together at home. What a great day to have it happen on.
