RECOVERING

Jordan is recovering well from his abdominal inflammation. In fact he's doing so well that he's ready to get back into food and can't have it yet unfortunately. They want to make sure his intestines can tolerate food and this will be done by a test tomorrow. In the meantime when I hold him he keeps pecking away around my chest to try and find food. Poor little guy. I felt so bad, he knows that's where the food is but of course, doesn't know why he can't have it. However, I am now learning how to console him when I can't give him what he needs and wants.

We had more good news today in that he's moved out of the isolette again and into a crib. I can bring in some of his own cloths to sleep in too! This puts us back a bit to take him home but as long as he's healthy we will patiently wait.

I definitely recognize that pecking motion. LOL. Autumn has tried that with me. However, I may have the equipment but not what she's looking for. So glad to hear that Jordan is improving daily and he'll be back in his civies again. They just look so adorable don't they when they are dressed up in sleepers. More huggable. Hope you and Chris are keeping well and I will keep praying Jordan's recovery is a speedy one and that he will be home with you soon. Take care. Love Aunt Chris
